Who is this CD Designed For?

Beginners anywhere of any age, especially beginners who have no recourse to a teacher.

Teachers who have had some musical training, but who have not had any specialist training in band instruments.

Teachers who have a small group of instruments in their class, whose students would benefit from the experience of playing with a larger group. This is provided electronically on this CD when playing scores in Sibelius. If you are a teacher and only have a small group of instruments, it is recommended that you use this CD in conjunction with the playback of scores in Sibelius.

All the lessons on each instrument correlate with lessons on other instruments, so, for instance, Lesson 14 on the Clarinet correlates with Lesson 14 on any other instrument. If the scores and parts are printed out, then this CD can be used as a method book. Obviously, the advice given for each instrument will be different, so whilst the pages may not correlate between instruments, the lessons, scores and parts certainly do.
